A WORLD SERIES, BRADDOCK PARK, FAIRFAX VA, AUGUST 1/2/3, 2003

We were fortunate to host the ISA A WORLDS in Fairfax, VA this past weekend and Vickie let me spend most of a weekend she had off at the ballpark with very little guilt!  I was able to get some nice shots of many of the teams and players that participated in the event this year.  Benfield/Worth took home the rings with a great team effort.  Result details are listed on the NEWS and EVENTS page, but for now, here are some photo's to check out.

Cool shot of Pat Wayne, Benfield pitcer

Doc's/Easton had a tough draw to open with Benfield but hit the ball well most of the weekend.

Had to get a shot of my loan officer, Ernie Donaldson, waiting for Tim Wilson in Taylor's opener vs. Team C&M.

Terry's/Holland's/Easton took a tough loss early in the tournament and battled back for several tough wins scoring in the 30's and 40's almost every game.

Taylor's rally falls a run short vs. McNair, who earlier in the day made a late inning come back after thinking they had lost by run rule to My Plumber/Miken.  Actual rule was 15 run, not 12, they had 6 homers left and didn't waste them, using the final bomb to win the game in the bottom of the 7th.

Benfield brain trust sorts out the call...

BOTH BENFIELD AND TEAM C & M prior to the finals...

"There is going to be a very tough call over there at 2nd, let's make sure we don't blow it, ok boys?"
